Ayrica Ash Children's Ministry Director Ayrica joined the staff as Children’s Ministry Director in 2005 and says the best parts of her job are the greetings, smiles, and hugs from children. Her hope is for children to grow in the knowledge that Jesus loves them, that they will love Him and have a personal relationship with Him, and that they will become followers of Christ, bold in their faith and their knowledge of the Lord. Ayrica and her husband Gary live in Eagan and have four children Charlie, Ayriel, Henry & Autumn.
Mike Ashley Student Ministry Pastor Mike joined our staff in August 2009. He is married to Gina Ashley. They have three children Josh, Kate and Luke. Mike has served in student ministry since 1997. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and has studied at Calvin Seminary, Grand Rapids Seminary, and is hoping to finish his graduate studies at Northwestern Graduate School. He enjoys watching the Bears beat the Vikings and hanging out with his family.

Kyle Christopherson Adult Ministry Pastor Kyle joined our staff as a volunteer in November 2010. He graduated from Northwestern College in May 2010 and went on to complete the licensing process with the Christian & Missionary Alliance in October. Kyle has a passion to see God glorified through lives transformed by his Spirit through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with friends.

Bruce Dorman Student Ministry Resident Bruce came on staff as Student Ministry Resident at Eagan Hills in early 2011. Originally from the West Coast God moved in a big way to bring him to Chicago when he was 20. Here he attended Moody Bible Institute where he completed his bachelor’s degree in 2010. Bruce loves serving and building community through intentional relationships and spiritual discipleship. He enjoys Frisbee, hanging out with friends, and playing board games competitively.
Lynn Hanson Administrative Assistant As Eagan Hills Church administrative assistant since 2003, Lynn is affectionately known by the church staff as the “glue”, although she knows “[Christ] is before all things, and in HIM all things hold together” (Colossians 1:17). Actively involved at Eagan Hills since 1986, her passion is to be used by God to connect people. This has included involvement in music, children’s, youth, and women’s ministries. Lynn and her husband Steve have lived in Eagan for 30 years and have been blessed with two adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson.
Bruce Konold Senior Pastor Bruce Konold (B.A. Moody Bible Institute; M.A. Bethel Theological Seminary) has 17 years of pastoral ministry, and ten years as pastor at Eagan Hills Church. Bruce’s passion is to communicate God’s Word in a clear and balanced way. He has recently published a devotional guide titled The Way of the Cross. He enjoys golfing, hunting, and coaching his kid’s soccer teams. Bruce and his wife, Tami, have three children (Abby, Sarah and Max), and make their home in Eagan, Minnesota.
Katie Reimer Missions Resident Katie is a Nursing graduate of Crown College and studied abroad in Switzerland and China. Katie is passionate about this generation dynamically impacting the world with the incredible gospel of Christ. Her goal is to serve Eagan Hills by promoting world missions while being discipled and prepared to be a CM&A career missionary. She strongly believes in the churches’ job of proclaiming and embodying the gospel so that the world can see, hear, and feel God’s love in tangible ways. Katie is from Montana, and spent the summer volunteering as a Nurse in Uganda, Africa. Her interests include: travel, learning medicine, telemark skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, and quality time with family and friends.
Jackie Sundeen Student Ministry Assistant Jackie has been involved with Eagan Hills Student Ministry since 2010. As a small group leader for high school girls she is very excited to be working as a Student Ministry Assistant alongside Pastor Mike and Bruce D. Jackie has been a leader on two student mission trips, one to Dominican Republic and one to Chicago.
Rachel VanWyk Children's Ministry Assistant Rachel became part of the Eagan Hills staff in the spring of 2010 and loves using the gifts God has given her to help create Gospel-based, exciting programs for Children’s Ministry. Rachel has a passion for learning from the Word of God and teaching those truths to children using her experience as a licensed elementary teacher. She is blessed daily with God’s provisions, which include a loving husband, 3 boys (Ben, Charlie, and Eli), and a home in Eagan.
Joseph Whalen Executive Pastor Joe Whalen (B.S. Crown College/Colorado Christian University; M.A. Crown College) has 15 years of pastoral ministry experience, the last eleven at Eagan Hills Church. Joe’s passion is to see the creative arts ministry authentically glorify God with excellence and creativity, honoring the past while remaining relevant in, not to, today’s culture. He has recently completed work on the Fringes CD, and is in pre-production on an upcoming project. He enjoys playing ice hockey, racquetball, ministering with his wife, reading and watching classic movies. Joe and Michelle have three children (Mariah, Paris and Kenoy), and make their home in Eagan, Minnesota.
Christina Wills Operations Assistant Christina Wills grew up in Southern Wisconsin and is married to her best friend, Stefan. She is so grateful that he introduced her to Jesus. After their daughter Hannah was born, Christina was blessed with her job at Eagan Hills. She enjoys coming to work each day and getting to know people in the church better. Her interests include watching their daughter grow, gardening, grilling in the summer, and playing softball.
