Bruce Konold Pastor of Teaching and Vision Bruce Konold (B.A. Moody Bible Institute; M.A. Bethel Theological Seminary) has 17 years of pastoral ministry, and ten years as pastor at Eagan Hills Church. Bruce’s passion is to communicate God’s Word in a clear and balanced way. He has recently published a devotional guide titled The Way of the Cross. He enjoys golfing, hunting, and coaching his kid’s soccer teams. Bruce and his wife, Tami, have three children (Abby, Sarah and Max), and make their home in Eagan, Minnesota.
Joseph Whalen Minister of Worship and Operations Joe and his wife Michelle have been involved in the leadership of the music department at Eagan Hills since 1999, when she accepted a part-time position at the church. The birth of their daughter led to Joe accepting a full-time position in 2004. Their passion is to see the creative arts ministry authentically glorify God with excellence and creativity, honoring the past while remaining relevant in, not to, today’s culture.
Matt Nettekoven Youth Minister Matt Nettekoven graduated from Northwestern college in 2004 with a degree in Youth Ministry and a Certificate in Bible. In the fall of 2005, Matt joyously accepted a position at Eagan Hills. Matt is passionate about having fun with students (frisbee golf anyone?), but simultaneously making sure that fun isn’t the focus of youth group. He wants, more than anything, for the group to be focused on God and His Word. Matt is married to Rebecca and has two sons named Noah and James and a dog named Tozer.
Ayrica Ash Children's Ministry Director Ayrica joined the staff as Children’s Ministry Director in 2005 and says the best parts of her job are the greetings, smiles, and hugs from children. Her hope is for children to grow in the knowledge that Jesus loves them, that they will love Him and have a personal relationship with Him, and that they will become followers of Christ, bold in their faith and their knowledge of the Lord. Ayrica and her husband Gary live in Eagan and have four children Charlie, Ayriel, Henry & Autumn.
Bill Schroeder Facility Manager Bill graduated from St. Thomas University in 1985 with a degree in marketing. Since 1989 he has owned his own construction business. Bill joined Eagan Hills Church in 1992 and became Facility Director in 2006. He has three girls (McKenzie, Morgan, and Madison).
Lynn Hanson Administrative Assistant As Eagan Hills Church administrative assistant since 2003, Lynn is affectionately known by the church staff as the “glue”, although she knows “[Christ] is before all things, and in HIM all things hold together” (Colossians 1:17). Actively involved at Eagan Hills since 1986, her passion is to be used by God to connect people within the church. This has included involvement in music, children’s, youth, and women’s ministries. Lynn, her husband Steve, and their sons Brian and Chris, live in Eagan.
