Elder, Secretary

I grew up in a Christian home, with a turning point in my faith at the LIFE youth conference in 1998. I've attended EHC since coming to Eagan in 2003. My wife Annie and I have three kids: Colin, Karyn, and Clark. I joined the elder board in 2019. In addition, I'm currently serving in Awana, having followed my kids up from the nursery as they've grown. Over time, I've participated in small groups, been a youth group leader before kids, and enjoyed singing in choirs. I'm a software engineer, live in Eagan, and like reading, board games, and spending time with my family.

A passage that has really spoken to me recently is Philippians 4:4-8: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.
